Welcome to Buenos Aires! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by one of our local Travelous, English speaking representatives who will be holding a sign with your name printed on it. Your representative will accompany you to your hotel and assist you with check-in.

In the very heart of San Telmo, this historic restored tenement (known as conventillo) is a classic example of the culture of the old city of Buenos Aires. The premises of La Ventana take a trip to these old times. The interior, which preserves the building in its purest style, creates the ideal setting for a unique experience which includes 32 performers, two tango orchestras, an Argentine folk music group, dancers and singers. Besides, there is a menu consisting of national and international cuisine and an exquisite selection of Argentine wines.

Discover the beauty and wonders of Buenos Aires through the highlights of the city, including Plaza de Mayo with Casa Rosada (Government building) and the Metropolitan Cathedral. This astounding building has an incredible mix of architectural styles with an 18th century nave and dome and a neoclassical facade. The Mausoleum of General San Martin is also found here, guarded by three statues representing Argentina, Peru and Chile. You will also visit the widest avenue in South America, the awe-inspiring 9 de Julio Avenue, followed by a stop at the historic neighborhoods of La Boca and Recoleta.

With the "Glaciers Gourmet Experience", you will have the possibility of navigating through Lago Argentino in search for the "Spirit of Glaciers", with walls of more than 50 meters (164 feet) high, deep blue millenary ice and stunning icebergs are the perfect setting to enjoy nature in its full glory.

El Calafate

Today you will take a fun 4x4 Land Rover excursion to the incredible Huyliche Hill! The itinerary starts in El Calafate, from where the trucks climb the mountain in order to reach a height of 1.050 meters above sea level. There, you will have the first viewpoint, which will give you an excellent panoramic view of Lake Argentino and the village. The following stage is "Laberinto de Piedras" (Stones Labyrinth), which is approx. 85-thousand-year-old. From there, the trucks continue towards "La Piedra de los Sombreros. After that, the vehicles set off to El Calafate, descending across the mount"s north face, from where you will enjoy an imposing view of Lake Argentino.

Today you will have the opportunity to select from a variety of exciting outdoor activities. Enjoy a soft morning hike, a mountain biking ride or a pleasant kayak outing in Bariloche surroundings with impressive views and stunning landscapes. With an expert guide, explore the best of the region as you learn about flora, fauna and the history of Nahuel Huapi National Park. Take a break alongside the banks of the river and enjoy hot tea and energy snacks. Later you will continue on with your activity until you break for a delightful outdoor lunch "almuerzo campestre" accompanied with Argentinian Malbec Wines in a secluded and hidden bay surrounded by pure nature. Afterwards return to your hotel for an evening of rest and relaxation.

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning for a full day tour of the Argentinean side of Iguazu Falls. A professional guide will tell you all about the history, flora and fauna of the National Park and the waterfalls. Experience the imposing views and sounds of the waterfalls, located in the midst of 890 square miles of nature reserve. The National Park has easily walkable footpaths, which will give you spectacular views of the numerous waterfalls. Via the Upper and Lower Circuit you will have a nice walk along the waterfalls ultimately reaching the spectacular Devil's Throat Waterfall.

Today you will visit the Brazilian side of the waterfalls. Together with a professional guide you will drive over the Juan D. Peron & Trancredo Neves Bridge, which connects the cities of Puerto Iguazu (Argentina) and Foz do Iguacu (Brazil). You continue your journey over the Las Cataratas Avenue to Foz do Iguacu National Park, one of the biggest flora reserves of Brazil. You will walk along the Brazilian side of the waterfalls with terrific panoramic views of the impressive waterfalls of Bozzeti, Two Sisters, San Martin and the Three Musketiers.

  • Airfare to/from the Tour start point, including domestic or inter-country connecting flights, unless otherwise stated in itinerary.
  • tips and gratuities
  • items of a personal nature such as incidentals, excess baggage charges
  • airport taxes/entrance fees, port charges, foreign government departure taxes
  • Visas (unless otherwise indicated), Inspection, Customs, Immigration and Naturalization fees Additional fuel surcharges on cruises
  • Travel Insurance including Medical, Lost Baggage and Trip cancellation
  • Optional activities (golf, watersports, etc.)
  • any other activities or items not explicitly advertised as included in the price of a Tour

 

Reservations/Booking and Deposits:  To book a Tour, each Traveler (or leader of a Group of Travelers) must submit:

 

A.     A completed booking form signed electronically by the main Traveler. By submitting the booking form on the payments page, the traveler accepts our full Terms and Conditions.  

B.     A deposit of 30% of the Tour price (minimum $250 per person), is due immediately upon booking.

C.     The full balance of the trip cost is due ninety days (90) before the trip departure date.

D.      If you book your trip with us ninety days (90 days) or less before the departure date, the full cost of the trip is due at that time.

E.       In the instance payment is made by certified check or wire transfer, reservations will only commence once the check is cleared.

F.       Availability of Services and Accommodations cannot be guaranteed until a Tour is booked.  We will exercise our best efforts to book the Services and Accommodations described in the Tour Itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of Tour date, we may be forced to offer substitutes.  In this instance we will notify you as soon as possible and try to substitute comparable Services and Accommodations based on availability.

G.      Ticketing & credit card processing for international transport and other select domestic airfare pertaining to a specific country is done by a 3rd party and not included in your total land package price unless otherwise stated.

H.       Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $250 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, permits, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price minus a $250 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, permits, cruise or hotel deposits). 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
