Day 1
Arequipa

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our local Travelous, English-speaking representatives who will be holding a sign with your name printed on it. Transfer in private vehicle with English speaking driver from the Airport to your hotel.

Spend some time exploring the "White City" of Arequipa. The tour kicks off with an illustrious visit to Yanahuara District and Carmen Alto where there is a breathtaking lookout point which displays a glorious view of the city and its three volcanoes: Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu. The tour continues with a visit to the splendid Main Square, the Cathedral, considered Peru's most unique Colonial church, and the Compania de Jesus Church where there are paintings of tropical flora and fauna found in the San Ignacio Chapel.

The tour is culminated by a visit to the Santa Catalina Monastery, an intriguing space that resembles a small city and also a former private monastery of the order of St. Catherine of Siena. The monastery was built in the 16th century and finally opened its doors to the public in 1970. It is one of the most important attractions of the city as a result of its architecture which displays a harmonious fusion of Spanish and native influence.

Today you will journey by a private car with an English speaking guide from Arequipa to the famous Colca Valley (10,899ft).

On the way to Chivay, a town located at the midpoint of the Colca Valley, you will witness beautiful landscapes and vast skies that are often filled with majestic birds. The snowy peaks of the surrounding volcanoes, the many terraces of the canyon and the Vicunas reserve, inhabited by one of the four llama species found in South America, will leave you captivated.

You will have the chance to visit Calera Hotsprings, a complex of pools that offer visitors a chance to relax and acclimatize in its thermal waters while enjoying breathtaking views.

Day 3
Colca Canyon

Today, you will have an early morning visit to the "Cruz del Condor" where condors can be spotted circling the skies during early morning hours.

The "Cruz del Condor", the deepest part of the canyon, will naturally exhibit the magnificent condor, the biggest bird in the world with a wingspan that can easily reach up to three meters wide. As they leave their rocky sanctuary with the warm air current in the morning to slowly ascend over the horizon, you can see them in their full splendor. Return to Chivay visiting small towns like Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque en route, making short stops in each to get to know the unique way of life of the locals.

Day 4
Puno

Depart on a scenic journey to Puno (12,421 ft). The duration of the trip is approximately five hours.

Peru is a country of exceptional natural beauty, with a wide range of places and activities available. Every city, whether on the coast, the mountains or the jungle, offers visitors a wide range of individual landscapes, sounds, colors and tastes. Peru is also known as the land of the Incas, an incredible civilization that learned how to tame its geography and live in harmony with the rivers, the Sun, the rain, the ocean, the mountains and the cold dryness of the Andes, adapting to their surroundings and surviving thanks to Mother Earth's gifts. Travel back in time to ancient civilizations and share the great cultural heritage of the Peruvian people.

Casa Andina Private Collection Arequipa

Casa Andina Private Collection Arequipais raised on the old "Casa de la Moneda" (old Mint), a national historic landmark built in 1794, which makes the hotel more a living museum than a hotel. In addition Casa Andina Private Collection Arequipa offers an internet center, Wi-Fi access, and Boarding Pass Printer.

The Suite features a separate living space and comes furnished with one King Bed and a breakfast table. A few of the amenities include air conditioning and heating, LED TVs, mini bar and a bathtub.

Colca Lodge Spa & Hot Springs

Located at an altitude of 3250 meters (10660 feet) above sea level, at two-and-a-half hours from the city of Arequipa, the lodge is built on the banks of the River Colca and is surrounded by hundreds of pre-Inca agricultural terraces that have been declared a Peruvian National Heritage.

Colca Lodge has 45 rooms of a rustic style all of which have a view of the valley and the hotel's gardens and patios. Most of them have a creative heating system employing heat-radiating stone slabs warmed by geothermal energy sources and with a minimum environmental impact.
