Day 2
Valparaiso - Santiago

Nicknamed "The Jewel of the Pacific", Valparaiso is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, due to its chaotic and improvised urban design and peculiar, colorful architecture. It is a port city with captivating charm, attracting the praise of many artists, including Pablo Neruda who built himself a home on the city"s Cerro Bellavista.

Kick off your tour at Argentina Avenue, famous for its farmer"s market. Hop on the historic elevators that will lift you up above the city and into the cerros to get some phenomenal panoramic views. Walk through the chaotic streets, admiring the very particular and almost chaotic architecture until you reach the Jota Cruz Social Club. Here, enjoy a classic popular dish "La Chorrillana." Continue on through the city on a trolley bus and finish your magical walk at a sailor bar near the port. Transfer back to Santiago in the evening.

Day 3
Santiago

The vibrant city of Santiago displays a fascinating contrast of architecture with sprawling colonial buildings set against towering skyscrapers. Old meets new here in this Bohemian paradise, nestled at the feet of the Andes and proudly displaying lush gardens, public art and countless espresso and wine bars.

Explore Santiago like a native. Your authentic Santiago tour will begin with a subway ride to the University of Chile station in the center of the city. Weave your way through the pedestrian city promenade, visiting emblematic buildings such as "La Moneda" (Government Palace) and the elaborate Santiago Stock Exchange. Continue to the beautiful Plaza de Armas in the heart of the city, adorned with coconut palms and featuring stunning neoclassical and colonial architecture. Grab lunch at the bustling Farmers Market of Vega Central. Afterwards, visit the bohemian Bellavista neighborhood and taste a classic Chilean drink before heading up San Cristobal Hill for a panoramic view.

Day 4
Santiago

After pick up at your hotel, drive towards the community of Champa while making stops along the way. Once out of the city, visit the agricultural and wine-making village of Isla del Maipo. Take a wine tasting and vineyard tour, and choose a bottle for the countryside meal.

Next, continue along a quiet country road, passing through vineyards, peaches orchards and green pastures with grazing livestock. With the mountain peaks as a constant backdrop, approach the mountainous region of Champa where we will shop for local produce at this country store, which gets all its products from nearby farms. Upon arrival, fire up a mud oven and cook a fresh Chilean meal, depending on the season and products that are locally available. Afterwards, enjoy the tranquil setting before heading back to Santiago for the evening.
