The vibrant city of Santiago displays a fascinating contrast of architecture with sprawling colonial buildings set against towering skyscrapers. Old meets new here in this Bohemian paradise, nestled at the feet of the Andes and proudly displaying lush gardens, public art and countless espresso and wine bars.

Explore Santiago like a native. Your authentic Santiago tour will begin with a subway ride to the University of Chile station in the center of the city. Weave your way through the pedestrian city promenade, visiting emblematic buildings such as "La Moneda" (Government Palace) and the elaborate Santiago Stock Exchange. Continue to the beautiful Plaza de Armas in the heart of the city, adorned with coconut palms and featuring stunning neoclassical and colonial architecture. Day 3
Santiago - Easter Island

Transfer in a private vehicle with English speaking driver from the hotel to the airport.

Welcome to Easter Island! Upon arrival at the Mataveri airport, a local representative will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel.

Easter Island is one of the most remote islands on the face of the earth, located far off into the Pacific Ocean. It is most famous for its abundant and enigmatic giant Moai statues, which hint of glory days. Today, the island boasts endless ruins and absolutely stunning turquoise seas, beckoning you in with their calm and warm waters.

Day 4
Easter Island

Visit the Ana Kai Tangata, a cave that is full of painting made from mineral pigmentation found on the island. The painting depicts the Manutara bird which would initiate the Tangata Manu competition when it arrived on the island each Spring. The men on the island would compete to capture the Manutara"s eggs to win the official title of "Birdman." Next, head to Ranu Kau- the second of the three main volcanoes to erupt about 2.5 million years ago. Beside the volcano is the ancient ceremonial city of Orongo, where the greatest concentration of petroglyphs can be found. You will also discover images of the Tangata manu birdman and the creator god Make.

In the afternoon, you will be taken to Ahu Akivi, the archaeological centre of the Roihi sector, restored in the 1960s. It is a ceremonial site, which is particularly interesting not only because of its location in the dead centre of the island but also because of the legends surrounding the Seven Moai situated on the platform. The tour also includes Puna Pau, located east of the town of Hanga Roa, where in a small crater of red stone the Moai hats were made.

Climb to the edge of the crater of the volcano to appreciate the small lake inside and moai scattered about the inner slopes in various stages of construction. Continue to Ahu Tongariki, where many of the huge moai were toppled by a large "seaquake" in 1960. Finally the tour ends at Anakena beach with its two beautiful ahu.

Spend an evening soaking in the beautiful sea, enjoying the natural settings and the tranquility of this distant island.

Chile is a country rich in diversity and contrast which distinguishes it from other world destinations. Its continental length from north to south reaches over 4,300 kilometers in a narrow strip of land between the rugged Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Such a great expanse gives way to an array of privileged landscapes, beginning with the planet's most arid desert, transitioning through a fertile central valley, down through a land of lakes and volcanoes and ending in the glaciers, fjords, and granite-mountains of wild Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego - the farthest reaches of the continent.
