Accompanied by your private guide, you will stroll through the oldest quarter of the city uncovering a legacy of centuries of history. Begin with the Arab wall of the tenth century and pass through monuments bequeathed by the Austrians and Bourbons dynasties, which includes former hospitals, palaces, theaters, narrow medieval streets and traditional shops. The Puerta del Sol, the street and Plaza Mayor, with 400 years of history, the Royal Palace, the elegant Plaza de Oriente, the Royal Opera, that recently turned 200 years old and Madrid's Cathedral, La Almudena. The Royal Palace is the largest in all Western Europe. Its construction began in 1738 by order of Felipe V, the first king of the Bourbon dynasty. Today, you will admire the official reception rooms, the museum area, the Royal Chapel, the Throne Room and the private rooms of King Carlos III and Queen Isabel II.

The day is yours to explore Spain's capital city at leisure. Madrid differs from other modern capitals, as it thrives on creativity and authenticity in the pursuit of quality in architecture, design and gastronomy. The Spanish capital offers several note worthy national museums, including the Prado, Reina Sofia, and Thyssen art museums. Madrid also has an excllent culinary reputation, with chefs from across Spain and around the world joining the local talent, the city's restaurants and bars are a major draw for foodies!

Today, meet with your private driver who will escort you to Toledo, only a one-hour drive from Madrid. Meet with your private guide at the entrance of Toledo to explore this monumental city, which was once the capital of the Spanish Empire. Visit the impressive Cathedral, the old Palace of Justice, the Town Hall, the old Jewish quarter and much more. You will be apple to appreciate spectacular views of the city over the Tagus River and as you enjoy a nice stroll of Toledo passing through the old Jewish quarter, with its narrow streets along the way.

The day is yours to explore Madrid at your own pace. Travelous recommends heading to the Sol Metro station for street performances, hot churros dipped in chocolate and shopping.

Madrid - Cordoba - Seville

Transfer in private vehicle with full assistance from your hotel to Train Station.

Travel from Madrid to Cordoba by Train. This modern, comfortable train will get you to your destination in only 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Upon arrival in Cordoba, you will meet your private guide/driver, who will take you to explore the impressive Mosque and the old town of Cordoba. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was built in 785 by Muslim conquerors and has evolved over time into Cordoba's Cathedral know as the Great Mosque and the Mezquita. The temple has essentially been a place for prayer. since Roman times. Your private guide will take you through the old Jewish quarter visiting the Alcazar and its gardens (closed on Mondays), the tiny narrow streets of the old town. Enjoy a drink at one of the unforgettable patios, embellished with flowers and painted tiles.

Following the tour continue to Seville with your private driver to check into your hotel.

This morning, you will enjoy a special gastronomical experience. Meet with your private chef and together visit a local market, where you will witness a tremendous variety of seafood, meat, fruit and vegetables. After your market stroll you will reach the cooking workshop where your chef will instruct you on the preparation of a delicious meal.

With a glass of sherry you will learn authentic Spanish recipes made by yourself. This is not a conventional class where you would take notes: here you learn to cook hands-on for the best results.

Following your class you will sample for yourself your own success as you enjoy a delicious lunch at the terrace with views of the Cathedral and share a glass of wine with your chef.

Ronda

Meet your driver, who will take you by private vehicle around the White Villages. Your excursion will take around 8 hours.Meet with your private local guide, who will join you on this exploration of the White Villages that cover the northwest part of Cadiz and the northeast areas of Malaga. We can trace back human presence in this zone up to the Paleolithic era, including Neolithic dolmens, copper and bronze eras, and later Roman roads, Visigotic fountains and Moorish towers. The iconic image you have in mind: White washed facades in small hill villages, comes from this same area.

We will stop in Arcos de la Frontera to visit and to enjoy the breathtaking views of the area before we stop for lunch in a great restaurant where you will be able to try the local specialties paired with wines of the regional.

Ronda

This morning, explore Ronda, one of Andalsuia's most picturesque towns, located just over 120 km south-east of Seville. Famous throughout Spain for the gaping river gorge with a sheer drop of 120m which divides the medieval portion from the 18th-century parts of the town. A spectacular bridge constructed in the 18th century spans the gorge and the view looking down from it is not for the faint-hearted. You will have time to explore the wonderful town of Ronda with its Moorish and Christian legacy as well as going to the oldest bullring in Spain. After this intense journey, take in some superb views of the surrounding mountain ranges and of course the plunging gorge.

The afternoon is yours to explore Ronda at your own pace.

Granada

This morning, meet your private driver and head to Granada. Walk today the same trail King Alphonse 13th did in 1921 when he inaugurated the Guadalhorce Dam. 100 thrilling meters above the river, the Wall of Gaitanes gorge, the Caminito del Rey can be called an impressive one. After years of disrepair, the Trail was opened again in 2014 and since then thousands of travelers will walk along the path.

Your private guide will take you along the route and explain everything you need to know about the history of this odd walkway. Keep your five senses awake and enjoy the grandness of an amazing landscape. Enjoy the nature, flora and fauna which will be displayed in front of you to create a memorable day.

After the tremendous excitement from the walkway, relax at a local restaurant, where you will try regional dishes, complimented by breathtaking views.

Today, travel with your private driver on a full day excursion to the Montserrat and Pendes wine region. Montserrat is one of the main landmarks of Catalonia and offers 4 different parts for visiting: the Natural Park, which the most important point is the Mountain, with great beauty, the complex of the Abbey and Benedictine Basilica, the Black Madonna of Montserrat, an icon of Catalonia, and the famous Escolania.

Your private guide will show you the complex, including its interesting museum and if you are lucky enough to arrive in time, you will enjoy one of the oldest choirs in Europe, dating back to the 13th century.

Later, head to Penedes to discover the fine wines of Catalonia.

You will taste a delicious menu in a local restaurant with delectable starters to share, the main course and a dessert, paired with regional wine.

The Penedes region is famous for the quality of its wines and the best-known Denomination of Origin for sparkling wine or "cava". There you visit a well-known winery where you will taste the different varieties of wine and cava from the region.
