Afterwards we continue to a local farm called Fridheimar, near to the town of Fludir (home of the secret lagoon). Fridheimar is greenhouse tomato farm, however the farm is more than it's greenhouses, as they also have a highly active horse breeding program. With six first-prize award winning broodmares and you will have a chance to visit with them, as you learn more about the Icelandic horses and their unique gaits. You will also have a chance to see the inner workings of the Fridheimar greenhouse where you will receive a talk on how they manage to produce high quality vegetables in a country known for its long, dark winters.

After the waterfall we will make our way to the Geysir Geothermal area. The area gets its name from a specific hotspring known as the "Great Geysir" a large geyser in the area that that gave us the English word "Geyser". Geysir itself is no longer active, but luckily Geysirs sister hot spring Strokkur still erupts frequently. There is also a large visitors centre here and a great spot for you to buy some lunch.

The last stop is Thingvellir National Park. This is the site where the world's first parliament was formed when the old Viking group leaders decided to join together on a yearly basis to discuss the events and laws of the land. This area is also notable as being the location where the Eurasian and American tectonic plates are separating from each other creating the Silfra fissure, a popular diving spot.

After the National park we will return to Reykjavik.
