Your representative will take you to your hotel in Paro and provide assistance with check-in. (Note: Tourist Visa included)

The museum has a wide assortment of ancient paintings, armors, philatelic displays and "fields of Buddhas", which Buddhists often visualize while meditating. You will then hike down the trail to visit the Rinpung Dzong meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". It has a long and fascinating history. Along the wooden galleries lining the courtyard of the Rinpung Dzong are fine wall paintings illustrating Buddhist lore.

Once you've had lunch, you will visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest and most sacred temple in the country. From there you will be taken to the ruin Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort), which was built in 1646 to commemorate Bhutan's victory over Tibetan invaders during the 1600s.

A delicious traditional lunch will be served in the Cafeteria Restaurant, located about halfway up the mountain. After lunch, you will have time to explore this incredible monastery, and if you wish, you can sit for a short meditation before you hike down to the valley floor.
