After the Cathedral we will visit the Grand Master's Palace. This Magisterial Palace was the official and private residence of the Grand Master of the Order, today the Palace officiate the role of the seat of Maltese Parliament. In the Palace there are two rooms that can be visited; The Armoury Room or The State Rooms (please note - the state rooms can only be visited if Parliament is not in session).
Lunch will be organised in a typical Restaurant in Rabat which is village located right next to Mdina (optional).
After lunch you will take a short walk around the narrow winding roads leading to the area of St Paul's Catacombs and Grotto. Here you will have the opportunity to visit the Catacombs. On leaving Rabat you enter Mdina, Malta's old capital city. The "silent city" has witnessed our country's major historical events due to its strategic position on one of the Malta's highest plateaus.
